Vega Trek is now available in playable form! In short, it is the first version of a 3D space combat game set in the Star Trek universe. It has the potential to become MUCH more, which is detailed elsewhere. The first version here is primarily a demo designed to give people something fun to play, and attract more people to the project. You can pick from a dozen or so simple battle missions, flying a multitude of Starfleet and alien ships.

You can download a small Windows or Mac version of it from Sourceforge.net here. If you don't have Windows or Mac, I suggest simply copying this dataset over an existing install of Vega Strike. Mac users have to run the setup tool before each switch between Vega Strike and Vega Trek if they ever run the setup tool at all.
